Crystal teardrops fall away.
Smashing, breaking, on the hard cold ground.
There is nothing more saddening,
Than watching a heartbreak.
Nothing more depressing,
Than being a witness.
Angry fists cry red agony,
Pounding into the walls of life.
There is nothing more aggravating,
Than precious nothing lost.
Nothing more annoying,
Than loosing what was never there.
Lonely heads bow and melt,
Ice-cold hands hide away a forbidden face.
There is nothing more dividing,
Than painful silence.
Nothing more harmful,
Than words never spoken.
Trembling hands try to fix,
And cover the cold, broken shards.
There is nothing more frightening,
Than something not meant.
Nothing more terrifying,
Than everlasting regret.
Warm arms are extended out,
Reaching over mountains of broken, then grasp and take hold.
There is nothing more enjoyable,
Than watching someone mend.
Nothing more pleasant,
Than being a witness.
